we support

Juro Design aims to make a positive contribution within the communities in which we operate.  As well as employing locals and supporting local business, we also support community initiatives.  We are also sensitive of the impact the construction industry has on our environment and reuse and recycle whenever possible.

We encourage our clients to think of what they would like to do with their existing kitchen if it is in good condition.  Would they like to sell it or donate it away once it has been removed ?

If the client has no plans we ask  if would they like us to auction the kitchen for charity.   We take photos and upload all the relevant information to Ebay and handle all the enquires.

As well as minimising the impact on our environment by saving a functional kitchen from the local refuse station we saw that we were able to raise much needed funds for charity organisations by auctioning our clients existing kitchen.

Whether $50 or $500 is raised by auctioning your existing kitchen we feel it is well worth the extra effort it takes to try and remove the kitchen in good condition.

November 2017

Thanks to Benita and Dave from Mountain Creek for donating their kitchen to Opal Aged Care Caloundra.  The residents now have a functional kitchen to use for therapeutic cooking.

‘Thanks for putting the nursing home in contact with us.  They are just loading the last bits of our kitchen into the back of their trucks.  They said it even matches their colour scheme.  They took oven and all.  Both parties are very happy.  I can’t wait to see the new kitchen go in!’

Response from Bravehearts –

Dear Supporter

On behalf of the children whom we support, Bravehearts would like to thank you for taking part in our Sponsor a Child program.  Your contribution will benefit the child you have selected, giving them the opportunity to work towards healing from their experiences.

When children first come to Bravehearts, the trauma they have experienced is often evident, however, the growth, strength and hope they display after receiving valuable specialist counselling is phenomenal giving truth to our name.  They are truly brave!  Your donation will be  instrumental in changing the course of their life, giving them a chance to bloom and grow into well adjusted adults free and strong.

Thank you, you are a champion for the kids!

Response from Pat and Barry –

Sincere thanks for forwarding a copy of the letter from Bravehearts.  We were delighted that the money from the sale of the kitchen went to  a good cause and the lady will finish up with a nice kitchen.

August 2013

With thanks to Tracey from Currimundi  $255 was donated  to Bravehearts from the sale of her existing kitchen.

We were one of the proud major sponsors of the Currimundi Carnival and Science Spectacular 2013 raising funds for Currimundi State School.

Over $10,000 was raised for the school!

In 2012 we supplied and installed a new canteen kitchen for the Currimundi United Churches Football Club.
